Alex didn't focus on the system notification as he knew he only had a few seconds before being forced to go unconscious like the previous two times.

"You have my gratitude for helping me win this battle, and this is a small gift as a token of goodwill," Alex said as he extended a unique dark spear toward Nyla.

The spear had a pitch-dark body with two separate long blades, one blade being a bit smaller than the other, and the spear had a crimson worm dragon with a realistic appearance and impeccable details with two heads coiling around its handle reaching up to the two blades.

It was common knowledge that summons could wield magic weapons and armor and take them as possession, and it was common among individuals who had permanent contracts with the summons to equip them with the best of the equipment.

The spear Alex was gifting to Nyla, 'Kismet Damnation,' was a legendary quality spear he received as a system reward after clearing the hidden dungeon of Abe the Dishonored Lab.

Alex was giving Nyla a spear and not a part of the world boss loot because she was wielding a spear as her weapon, and most of the rewards he had received from the system were not sharable, and the ones he could give her would not be of her interest. nove(l)bi(n.)com

Alex wasn't required to give Nyla any reward, but he was doing so to make a good impression and also to not feel like an ungrateful individual because the benefits he had received from killing the world Boss were majorly thanks to her effort.

'I can't ask her to be my soul-contracted summon, as her Rank is one major Rank higher than mine, but maybe in the future we could meet again if fate wills it.' Alex thought.

'My eyes are not going blurry, and I am not feeling dizzy like I did after completing the last two tests of might missions.' Alex thought as Nyla took the spear.

"Summoner, You are quite generous with your gift, but I don't need it, and as for my gift, fighting alongside a monster like you is good enough for me," Nyla said, her voice sounding slightly livelier than a few seconds ago as she returned the spear.

'I completely forgot about the Ruler Pride skill,' Alex thought as he instantly stopped using the Ruler Pride skill to save burning through his intelligence stat.

'I burned through twenty-one Intelligence stat points, but if I had gone unconscious while the skill was still in use, I would lose in the hundreds.' Alex thought, taking a deep breath as he felt the strength being sapped out of his body and heard the system notification.

"Summoner, You have earned my respect with your fighting capabilities, and If you ...." Nyla stopped as her dragon pupils went wide with shock feeling the drastic change in Alex's aura.

"I was using a skill that temporarily increases my Rank," Alex said, seeing Nyla's shocked look.

"You are a second Rank warrior?" Nyla asked, and seeing Alex nod in confirmation, she stood stunned.

Alex didn't say anything giving Nyla time to process the information as anyone would be stunned knowing a person could wield strength, rivaling a fourth Rank individual while being just a second Rank.

Nyla stayed silent with a lost look for a few seconds before throwing a straight punch toward the face of Alex, which he dodged easily.

Nyla kept throwing punches that kept getting faster and faster, and when Alex felt he couldn't doge without moving his feet, he swiftly caught both of Nyla's wrists, stopping her rain of punches.

"You are stronger than most third Rank warriors I have seen in my life, and you are just a second Rank warrior," Nyla said, saying it more like talking to herself.

"I would have made a permanent contract with you if the world law allowed me just to see what unrealistic strength you would wield after advancing your first major Rank," Nyla said with a smile.

Nyla raised her hand, manifesting a grayish-dark flame that slowly turned into an ancient dragon head with a crown made from horns releasing a thick, pungent death miasma and pressure that felt sickening.

"This is my ancestral seal with my unique soul mark on it, and when in the future you would reach the Elementalist Rank and start understanding the mysteries of the soul, you can use it to sense my presence and possibly summon me again," Nyla said as she placed the flame seal on Alex palm.

Alex felt his palm being eaten by ants as he experienced pain similar to what he felt after eating the cleansing fruit.

After a few seconds that felt like a few minutes, the pain vanished while his head rang with a system notification.

"The ancestral seal can provide you many benefits if you could learn its mysteries," Nyla said as her figure got cloaked by darkness before dissolving into the ground.

'Dragon Monarch Seal and it belong to her ancestor,' Alex thought, looking at the imprint of the dragon's head on his palm and checking the description of the seal.

"I will take the latter option," Alex said, and Lady Margaret vanished while giving him a bright smile.

'Now let's check why didn't I go unconscious even though I completed the Test of Might,' Alex thought, opening the mission section.
